Field Day 2019
MVARA Conducted a  one-day Field Day activity.
Set-up at 7 am
On-air Field Day  transmissions began at 11 am and tear-down ended
5 pm
Pot-luck BBQ Lunch for all members and families at noon.  After that we had a raffle for the Yaesu FT-70dr dual band HT.
The luck winner was N6DJB!

Early Sat. Setup begins at 8AM.
The Stations start at 11 AM on Saturday morning.
We will be running as a "2-alpha" group with a 10 meter "GOTA" station and a VHF / UHF station for extra points.
If you have ever wanted to try Amateur Radio, here is your chance to run the "GOTA" (get-on-the-air) station and get your feet wet!
