Passing of Harold Powell, W6HEP, was noted with sadness . He was a great guy and had all the characteristics of a great fellow Ham Radio Operator. Many times he expressed regrets that he did not get his Ham Radio license earlier and find a club like ours to join. He would volunteer his services any time, any way he could. Several times he assisted me with clerical things. My last conversation with him was on 22 April and seemed in fair health.
His passing was unexpected .
Harold  W6HEP Old Man you will be missed and remembered as the ideal of a Ham Radio Operator .

Harold was one of the first members of MVARA to make me feel welcome. He always had something nice to say to me and always took the time to talk with me about anything I had on my mind. Harold was a true CLASS ACT. I will miss him greatly.
